Security & Audits
Security is of paramount importance to the Noderr Protocol. This document provides an overview of the security measures in place to protect the protocol and its users.
Status (testnet): Noderr is currently live on the Base Sepolia testnet (Q4 2026, the protocol's current phase). A full third-party external audit has not yet been completed; it is scheduled for Q1 2027, ahead of the planned Q3 2027 mainnet launch. Statements below describe planned and in-progress measures, not completed external audits.
Smart Contract Audits
Noderr's smart contracts have undergone an internal security review by the core team and extensive testnet testing, with 15 contracts verified on Basescan (Base Sepolia). A third-party external audit is scheduled for Q1 2027 (ahead of the Q3 2027 mainnet) by a leading security firm; the audit report will be published once complete. Until then, no completed external audit should be assumed.
Bug Bounty Program
Noderr plans to launch a bug bounty program (alongside mainnet) to incentivize the responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it to security@noderr.xyz.
Guardian Chamber
The Guardian Chamber of the NoderrDAO is designed to serve as the protocol's security council, composed of security-focused node operators responsible for responding to security threats. Guardian status requires governance approval plus a Utility NFT; chamber membership and seat counts are governance-defined and are being established as the network decentralizes. Governance decisions follow a 60% standard approval threshold, while major decisions affecting treasury, capital deployment, or strategy require a 66% Oracle supermajority. Voting power is tier-based (Micro 1x / Validator 2x / Guardian 4x / Oracle 7x).
The Noderr Protocol is committed to the highest standards of security. If you have any security-related questions, please contact us at security@noderr.xyz.
