Oracle Nodes

This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the Oracle Node tier, including its requirements, responsibilities, and rewards.

Overview

Oracle Nodes are the most advanced tier in the Noderr network, responsible for powering the protocol's Autonomous Trading Engine (ATE). The ATE is a conceptual umbrella over the on-chain ExecutionRouter, StrategyRegistry, and BaseRateGovernor contracts rather than a standalone service. This tier is designed for quantitative analysts, data scientists, and institutional operators with deep expertise in financial markets and machine learning.

Requirements

RequirementMinimum
Staking150,000 NODR (~$105,000 at the $0.70 reference price) + Oracle NFT
CPU16+ Cores
RAM64GB+
Storage2TB+ NVMe SSD
Bandwidth1 Gbps+

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection: Collect and process vast amounts of financial market data.
  • Strategy Analysis: Run machine learning models to identify profitable trading strategies.
  • Autonomous Trading Engine (ATE) Execution: Execute trades and manage capital allocation for the protocol's yield vaults.

Rewards

Oracle Node operators receive the largest share of node rewards, reflecting their role in generating yield. Node rewards are revenue-share, not a fixed per-tier APY: 40% of protocol revenue flows to the node pool, which is then split 30/30/30/10 across the Oracle, Guardian, and Validator tiers (with the remaining 10% to the network). At full activation, the target annual reward for an Oracle Node is ~$16,500 (compared to ~$9,000 for Guardian and ~$5,500 for Validator); actual amounts scale with protocol revenue and activation.

Oracle operators also hold voting power in the Oracle Chamber of the NoderrDAO, giving them a direct say in the protocol's strategic direction. Voting power is tier-based: an Oracle vote carries weight (vs. Guardian 4×, Validator 2×, Micro 1×). While most proposals pass at a 60% standard approval threshold, major decisions (treasury and capital deployment, allocations above $100K or 5% of AUM, and strategy approvals) require a 66% Oracle supermajority, placing real authority with this tier.

How to Get Started

  1. Meet the Requirements: Ensure you have the necessary hardware, have acquired 150,000 NODR, and possess an Oracle NFT.
  2. Participate in an Election: Oracle seats are not fixed; operators are elected on-chain by a 66% vote, with the active set sized dynamically. Follow the Oracle Election Guide to participate in an Oracle election.
  3. Install the Node Software: Once elected, follow the Oracle Node Installation Guide to set up your node.
