How to improve your TrustFingerprint score
A higher score leads to greater rewards and helps qualify your node for higher tiers. Here is what moves each part of it.
The score ranges from 0 to 100%. Uptime is 50% of it, success rate 40% and stake 10%. TrustFingerprint explains how it is computed.
1. Keep your node online (50%)
Uptime is the largest component. It is measured by how many days your node has been active and how recently it was last seen online.

Going offline does not zero your score at once. The penalty is graduated:

What to do:
- Run your node on dedicated hardware or a reliable VPS with a stable internet connection.
- Set up monitoring and alerts so you know immediately if your node goes offline.
- Do not run your node on a laptop or home machine that may sleep or lose connectivity.
For maintenance, you have a 24-hour window with no penalty. If you need longer, plan for a lower score during that period. It recovers automatically once your node is back online and active.
2. Complete your tasks (40%)
Your success rate is the percentage of tasks assigned to your node that completed successfully.
- Keep your node software up to date. New releases fix bugs and improve compatibility.
- Check that your machine meets the hardware requirements for your tier.
- Do not modify the one click node software. It is already configured.
- Watch your node's logs for errors and fix them promptly.
New nodes get a minimum score of 50% for the first 30 days, to allow time to build a track record. After that grace period the minimum floor is 30%.
3. Hold your tier's stake (10%)
The stake component is proportional to your staked NODR relative to your tier's minimum. Meet or exceed the minimum and you receive the full 10%.

Do not unstake below the tier minimum while your node is active. That lowers your score and may trigger a slashing review.
