What is Noderr?

Noderr is a DeFi protocol that aims to earn yield from automated trading strategies. Community nodes are designed to run it, not a central company's servers.

Testnet. Noderr runs on Base Sepolia. Audits are planned for Q1 2027 and mainnet for Q3 2027. See Testnet Status, or join the Odyssey campaign to take part now.

The short version

  1. You deposit stablecoins such as USDC into a vault. On testnet you use test USDC (tUSDC) from a faucet.
  2. The vault splits your capital between the Floor, which is principal protected and runs conservative strategies, and the Autonomous Trading Engine (ATE) for higher variance alpha. Each vault has its own split.
  3. Yield comes back to the vault. The Floor Engine and the ATE are designed to run these strategies across integrated DeFi protocols and return the yield to depositors.

There are six vaults, from Conservative (target 5–8% APY) to Aggressive (target 8–15%). See every vault's split and target band in Core Concepts. These are targets, not guaranteed. On testnet no venue is bound, no capital has been deployed to strategies and no yield has been earned.

What is different

Yield comes from trading and fees, not token emissions. Sources are market neutral strategies such as arbitrage and liquidity provision, ATE performance, and protocol fees. A portion of fees will go to $NODR stakers.

Nodes, not central providers. Many protocols depend on services like Infura or Alchemy. Noderr is built to run on a global, permissionless node network so no single company can shut it down. The target is 99.9% uptime or better. The network is being decentralized step by step during testnet.

Fixed supply. There are 100 million $NODR. No new tokens are minted.

Influence is earned. Voting power will depend on node tier and TrustFingerprint reputation, not on token balance alone. This limits flash loan vote attacks. See Core Concepts for the numbers.

Security comes first. The contracts are internally audited and tested on testnet. An independent third-party audit is planned for Q1 2027, before mainnet. A bug bounty and a security council of elected Guardian nodes are planned. The ATE is designed to use risk models that adjust market exposure as conditions change.

Who runs it

Four tiers of community nodes: Micro, Validator, Guardian and Oracle. See How Noderr Works.

Today a 2-of-3 multisig behind a 7-day timelock controls contract upgrades and administration. Two-chamber DAO voting on node and oracle elections and protocol parameters is planned. Full DAO governance is targeted for Q4 2027.

The pieces

  • Noderr Protocol: the smart contracts and offchain systems that run the vaults.
  • Noderr DAO: the governance layer described above.
  • Noderr Interface: the web app at dapp.noderr.xyz.
