How Noderr Works

Your money goes into a vault, the protocol puts it to work, and the vault's value rises with the yield. This page walks through those three steps and who runs each part.

1. Deposit

You deposit tUSDC into one of Noderr's vaults. Each vault has its own risk profile. You receive vault shares in return.

2. Allocate

The Autonomous Trading Engine (ATE) is designed to spread vault capital across integrated DeFi protocols and market neutral strategies. The ATE is not a single service. Onchain it is the ExecutionRouter, StrategyRegistry and Base-Rate Governor contracts, coordinated by Oracle nodes.

Each vault has its own target band, from 5–8% APY for Conservative to 8–15% for Aggressive. See the vault table. These are targets, not guaranteed. Nothing is earning on testnet because no venue is bound onchain, and no capital has been deployed to strategies yet.

Node operators can add node rewards on top by staking $NODR and running a node. Vault plus node together target 8–28%. Node rewards are a revenue share, not a fixed APY. 28% is the combined vault and node figure, never vault only.

3. Earn and withdraw

As strategies run, the vault's assets are designed to grow. That growth shows up in the net asset value (NAV) of your vault shares. You can watch performance live in the Noderr dApp and withdraw your capital and yield, subject to the vault's redemption terms.

Staked $NODR is different. It has a 21-day unstaking period before it is released.

Who runs what

Four tiers of community nodes run the protocol.

TierRole
MicroEntry tier. Basic data collection, network monitoring and lightweight mesh computing for distributed tasks.
ValidatorValidates transactions and takes part in consensus for data integrity and finality.
GuardianToday votes on strategy backtests. Monitors contracts for threats and coordinates emergency response. Will form the Guardian Chamber for security oversight.
OracleTop tier. Will run machine learning models to generate and validate strategies, and power the ATE's data collection, analysis and execution. Today one protocol keeper submits strategies.

The network is designed to have no single point of failure and to be owned and run by its community. To join, see Node Operators.
